There are many ways residents can get involved in the APA.
District Branches are invited to nominate one member to receive the 2007 Disaster Psychiatry Fellowship. The fellowship consists of the reimbursement of the advance registration course fee for the Committee on Psychiatric Dimensions of Disasters' annual course, "Psychiatric Interventions in Disasters and Public Health Emergencies: Theory to Practice," on Saturday, May 19, 2007, 8 a.m. - 12 p.m., at the San Diego Convention Center, Room 29 C, Upper Level, during the APA Annual Meeting in San Diego.
Up to 10 nominations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with one nomination being accepted from each District Branch. Nominations must be received no later than March 1, 2007.
